CoveragePrep helps people become licensed insurance adjusters. We publish free practice tests, timed exam simulations, plain-English study guides and licensing requirements for every state, with no account and no paywall.
Why we built it
Every year, after hurricanes, hailstorms and wildfires, insurers need thousands of new adjusters, and thousands of people try to get licensed quickly. Most free study material online is either a handful of sample questions in front of a paid course, or "actual exam question" dumps of unknown origin and accuracy. We wanted a resource that is free, honest about its sources and accurate enough to study from.

How we keep it accurate
Questions and licensing data are researched from primary sources: insurance policy forms, state statutes and regulations, department of insurance websites, FEMA documents and the exam vendors' candidate handbooks. Every page shows the date it was last reviewed. Our editorial policy explains the process in detail.

CoveragePrep is independent. We are not affiliated with Pearson VUE, PSI, Prometric, any state department of insurance, any insurer or any prelicensing school. The site is free because it is supported by advertising; advertisers have no influence on our content.
